General Questions

Is there an hourly minimum?

Sunday to Thursday there is a 3 hour minimum for vehicles such as Sedans and luxury Suburbans. There is a 4 hour minimum for Limo Buses and Stretch Limousines

Friday and Saturday there is a 4 hour minimum for all vehicles.

Do you have insurance?
Yes, all of our vehicles are 100% insured. If you have any questions about the extent of our insurance coverage for your corporate account, please call us at (281) 353-5466. We will be glad to provide you with the information you require.
What if we forget something in the limo?

The Woodlands VIP Transportation Services is not responsible for any lost or forgotten belongings. However, if we do find a lost item we will hold on to it and you may come and pick it up.

Payments and Charges

Do you require a deposit when booking a service?
Yes. We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking for all our hourly rentals. For any other services we require credit card information to secure our service.
What methods of payment do you accept?
All major credit cards accepted. We also accept traveler’s checks or cash. We do no accept personal checks.
When will you charge my credit card?

The deposit will be charged at the time of booking and the remaining charges will apply on the day or the day after your service is completed.

Should I tip my chauffer?
There is a 20% mandatory gratuity for all limousine vehicle and transportation services; please confirm with the office at the time of booking to verify whether the gratuity has been added to your quote.
If I am not ready at pickup time, will I be charged for waiting time?
The hourly charge will apply if we wait longer than 15 minutes. It is best to be ready before your vehicle arrives!
Do you charge overtime?
Any waiting time or over time more than 15 minutes there will be a charge accordingly. Waiting for delayed or lost luggage, delay in customs or immigration (45 minutes max wait free of charge), late departures from pick up location to the airports (Waiting longer than 15 minutes pass the schedule time), extra stops, extra service or any other services not within the agreement there will be extra charge to the customer and has to be paid in person or will be charged to your credit card on file.
I made a reservation but my plans changed or cancelled. What do I need to do?

Advance notice is required for any change or cancellation. Please call our office at (281) 353-5466.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Deposits may be refunded for cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
  • Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made 3 to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
  • Cancellations made within 3 hours or after scheduled pick up time are subject to a full fare and gratuity charges.
  • All reservations require separate cancellation.

Airport Transportation Houston

Arrival at Houston airports, where should I meet my driver?
Arrival at IAH (George Bush International Airport) :

There are many airlines flying into George Bush International Airport and arriving at various terminals. We will monitor your flight status and based on your airline’s flight status page the driver will meet you at the posted terminal (A, B, C or E). For domestic flights arriving from other US cities, the driver will meet you at baggage claim level near the assigned carrousel at the posted terminal (A, B or C). For international flights arriving directly into Houston from overseas, the driver will meet you inside the Lobby as you exit customs and immigration in terminal E. The driver will be stationed nearby the Starbucks café. Always look for the personalized sign with your name on and if you can’t locate your driver, please call us immediately at (281) 353-5466. We will direct your driver to you.

Arrival at HOU (William P. Hobby Airport):

Please meet your driver at baggage claim level near the information and rental car desk closer to the exit door. Always look for the personalized sign with your name and if you can’t locate your driver, please call us immediately at (281) 353-5466. We will direct your driver to you.

What happens if my flight is late?
Our operations staff monitors the exact arrival time of each commercial flight into Houston. You can be assured that your chauffeur will be waiting for you when you arrive. If this is a commercial flight, there will be no additional charge for the delay unless the flight is delayed more than 45 minutes. All airport transfers between the hours of 12:00 AM and 4:30 AM will incur a $25 surcharge regardless of the circumstances.
What if my flight is cancelled?
There is no charge for any flight arriving into Houston that is canceled by the airline. However, it is the responsibility of the traveler or booking agent to notify our office at (281) 353-5466 to advise us of any new travel arrangements.
How will I recognize my chauffeur?
The Woodlands VIP Limousine Service chauffeurs are in dress attire; black suit, white shirt and black tie. Your chauffeur will display a personalized paging sign with your name.
What if I do not see my chauffeur?
Our chauffeurs routinely arrive at any pick up location (at a residence, office or airport) 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time. If driver has not arrived in this time frame, please call (281) 353-5466.
How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We prefer that you make your reservations at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled pickup time. Please make your reservation at least 24 hours in advance to ensure that we have an available vehicle.
Can I make a last minute limousine reservation?
We will make every attempt to accommodate you but YOU MUST CALL directly to make that appointment. DO NOT email or use our reservation page to make a last minute booking.

Cruise Ship Terminal

Where do you drop off at the Galveston Cruise Terminal?
The Woodlands VIP Limousine Services vehicles are permitted to get to the closest terminal entrance door and drop you off right by the check-in area.
Where do you pick up at the Galveston Cruise Terminal?
The Woodlands VIP Limousine Service’s vehicles are permitted to pick you up right by the terminal exit door, here is how it works:
**Please call The Woodlands VIP Limousine Services as soon as you clear custom and immigration, we will dispatch our drivers to meet you in the front as there is no vehicle can park and wait at pick up and drop off zone.
Do you monitor the arrival of the cruise ship?
There is no information line or website to monitor the actual arrival and departure status. Clients are responsible to contact The Woodlands VIP Limousine Services at the earliest time to advise them of any delays.
Is there any extra charge for waiting time?
Yes, the first hour of waiting from the initial given time is free, and any additional waiting time after that will incur additional charges depending on the type of vehicle you booked. Please ask your representative at the time of booking.

Limousine Amenities

I am traveling with an infant. Are there car seats available?
Due to size and safety restrictions for different age groups, we are unable to provide car seats, but customers are more than welcome to bring their own.
Is smoking allowed?
Our entire fleet of vehicles is nonsmoking. We respect the rights of the smoker, but we also respect the rights of the next passenger who may not smoke.
Do you provide complimentary alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages or do the customers have to provide their own?
We can provide non-alcoholic beverages and champagne. Customers are welcome to bring their own alcohol as long as they are at least 21 years old.
Can we bring food?
No, food is not allowed in the vehicles.
Can we bring our own music?
Yes, if you bring the AUX connection cord you can hook up your phone or iPod.
